Mission
and Outreach is emphasized in every area of ministry at Mt. Fern.
Beginning with the Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and youth
mission projects, to the church wide support of a work team that serves
in mission for the Appalachia Service Project each year, Mt. Fern is
actively involved in service to the local and global community. Our
church opens its doors to community activities and services, hosting
weekly AA and Al-anon meetings, sponsoring two Boy Scout troops, hosting
a variety of scouting activities, providing space for YMCA activities,
and providing space for other church and community activities.
